Dolce & Gabbana are undoubtfully among the most influential designers of our time. Their client list includes some of the best dressed people in the world, such as the Beckhams, Madonna and Sophia Loren. Domenico Dolce studied fashion design in Sicily and gained experience working at his parents business. Stefano Gabbana studied graphic design and worked as an assistant at an atelier in Milan, where he met Dolce for the first time in 1980. By 1982 they had started their first fashion consulting studio and in 1985 they showed their first womenwear collection, winning national acclaim.
